Senior Policy Adviser

Randstad is searching for a skilled and accomplished Senior Policy Advisor who possesses a keen eye for detail and excels in their field. About your new role

The Senior Policy Adviser is a high-level subject-matter expert responsible for providing leading governance and corporate law expertise within a multi-disciplinary education and policy leadership department. The position demands a self-starter with a commitment to excellence, highly developed written skills, and the personal leadership necessary to influence both internal and external stakeholders.

What you will need to exceed

• Deep knowledge of corporate governance practice and regulation is required.
• Possess highly developed drafting skills to produce policy submissions, research reports, and presentations.
• Ability to analyse complex policy options and provide recommendations for reform.
• Ability to build and maintain deep professional networks and relate effectively to a community of leaders.
• Be able to cope with pressure and setbacks while maintaining high professional standards.
• Experience specifically with a regulator, government body, or investor group is highly valued.
• Be able to provide direct advice to boards and directors on governance matters.
• Proven experience in public policy advocacy and government relations.

Must have

• You need a degree in law, politics, commerce, or economics.
